woohoo.. been a long time since i entered an entry in here. now sunday night liao. nv realized how much busier i got.
i made it into the team on friday against pingyi. surprise surprise. actually nv did doubt i would make the team. only the fact that my performance itself would kick me out. friday was basically a disaster for ri cricket. in every area u looked. the u-14s played the 8 a side final and lost by 1 pathetic run. ( which is VERY VERY little). ttz kinda sad lar. cuz we all expected them to win. and they should cuz they are a strong side and all. hmm. we lost to pingyi too. pingyi aint much of a team i can tell u. dunno why we lost. we gave too many extras. too many free runs. fielding horrible. dropped catches. we let them score 143. den we had our chance to bat. i was in at no.4 and i got in very quickly. the first fella kena knicked and the second was caught. we were gone. when i went in i found the bowlers surprisingly easy to play. i felt confidence in myself. i felt i could finally go on to score. hit one 4 at the start. den disaster struck. ( as usual. nv has one game gone w/o it. ttz my cricket.) i hit the ball. pretty solidly i guess. went straight to fielder. i ran half the pitch. den sid george on the other side said no. and i had to run back. i din exactly run and i paid the price cuz the fella i hit the ball to threw it STRAIGHT to my stumps. and i was out. juz like that. i hit 11 runs which aint that bad when u tink about it. bud i could have gone MUCH further i feel. we were 66 all out in the end. kena walloped. i din do much in fielding sumore. felt bad after the match and stuff. ttz all i guess i have to say about the match. sorry if u all dun understand the cricket lingo and stuff. dun have to.
sat had yf. slept at 11 and woke up at 10. watched the 76ers beat the Magic. (bball) den went to meet alethia, haankhee, michelle and kenji for lunch. later saw jotee and others before going to church to prepare for worship. quite funny lar. my first time playing guitar. i admit i not pro enuff lar. i strum too hard and my wrist not relax enuff. hahaha. buden alethia said she din hear anything wrong so it couldnt be that bad after all. heh. after that played floorball nad capt ball. norm stuff. dinner at macs before going home. and oh yah. united lost too!! =))
today... church in the morning. dunno why felt so sleepy. went for lunch den to elsie's house.=) in the end went her godparents' house which is next door to me to watch. pretty fun. nice movie too. amelia. go catch it!!
over all the weekend was nice.. although it din start very well. friday was also valentines day. i din mention that earlier. no date to go out with anw so it wasnt that bad. haha. no1 would bother to ask me anw yea? hahaha. den in the end play match. play match also lose. lose also until like that. pretty sad lar. sat helped to make up for it a bit. i guess fellowship with ppl does help loads in encouraging u eh? now i feel much better. dun tink it will be the same after tmr's training though. bet he's going to kill all of us. the u14s and the u17s together. but why am i complaining. i guess. we deserve it.
